Lecturers and technicians are trained on the equipment they will teach with, in the room it was installed in.

What the training covers

Safe operation and start-up procedure for each unit

Running the experiments the equipment was bought for

Data acquisition and software where fitted

Routine checks technicians can do themselves

Fault finding and when to call us

What handover includes

Operating and maintenance manuals in Arabic and English, the commissioning test sheets, the spare parts list with part numbers, and a signed handover certificate. Attendance at training is recorded by name.
